The Radiance Sutras is a playful and poetic version of the Vijnana Bhairava Tantra, a classic yoga text describing 112 meditation techniques for being intimate with the life force. A wide variety of practices are included: dance, singing, exercising to exhaustion, falling asleep, lovemaking, listening to the silence, communing with nature, and celebrating desire and emotion. As we go through life, we need access to a wide variety of inner doorways to meditation, to keep ourselves juicy, vibrant, and capable of tolerating intimacy.
In this workshop, we will be improvising with the Sutras, exploring the relationship we have in this moment with life’s inward and outward call, letting the text remind us of the richness of the life force permeating our bodies at all times.
